Happy Sunday!! What a glorious day it’s been! After brekkie (breakfast) we all got on our Sunday best and piled into the bakkie (pick up truck) and the fire truck. We arrived at the community center to join the fellowship Diamond (our farm manager) started. This is the same family we celebrated New Year’s Eve with. The church group was smaller and we were half the room but the joy and praises were still resounding. Harrison and Tyler shared beautiful items- what they call the time for testimonies and scripture. Then Olivia and Cody led us in some songs. The kids were dismissed during the sermon and Mel Bel lead the kids in making salvation bracelets. The people in this place are so beautiful in their voices, hearts, feet, and of course their face. Our friends that we have been with all week came to this church to give us hugs one last time til next time. When we came back to the farm we had the exciting chance to announce to the group that Olivia had the desire to be baptized. So after a nice kip (nap) and quiet time we all walked to some large rocks nearby to take a “bridging the gap” photo ( a morning star tradition ). THEN, we journeyed down to the Mukwa dam for our sweet Olivia to be baptized. It was an incredible moment and a great time of celebration... until Ramsey (one of the pups) decided to attack something in the bush. As silly as we are, the crowd ran after him. Rams had found a monitor lizard (iguana). So that cut the celebration for a moment and then we went back to hugs and headed back to pack. Pack? You may ask. Tomorrow we have the opportunity to take a young boy with a hip disease to town. A large group of people came together last year to give funds for him to afford this special disabilities boarding school. We have enough for 2 years at the school so stay tuned for your chance to help this lil one succeed. We are excited to be able to drop him off at school and then we will begin our ministry in Bulawayo. Stay tuned for the city life news. Hambe gushleh (stay well) family and friends !!
