Good evening from Zimbabwe!! We have finally made it to Morning Star farm (where we are staying for the next couple weeks). We had a very quick 1 hour flight from Johannesburg to Bulawayo. Everyone got their bags, customs was slow but wasn’t horrific, and we met Norma on the other side. After all the funny introductions we headed to the farm. The ride was bumpy and long but we didn’t mind because some slept through it and others were watching intensely for a glimpse of giraffe. The tour was going well until.... hisssss! Lucky for us, Mr. Moyo (our driver) and his friend were on top of this spewing tire. We had conveniently stopped by the local shops so they went there to mind the tire and we ran over to the soccer field where we spotted kids playing futbol (soccer). We hung out with them, attracted a few more friends, and played until the tire was back on and ready to go! We finally arrived at the farm, found our huts, learned about the long drops, and visited the goats. Today has been grand and some are now in bed while others are visiting Polar Bear rock (don’t worry they’re safe). Well that’s all for today! Tomorrow we will go to the Zintabenti church and then get organized for the week ahead. We love y’all. Signing off!
